Furniture Design: 5 Random Transforming and Convertible Furnitures 01

I'm really fond of transforming and convertible furnitures, especially those you wouldn't expect to be one.  Not only do they look cool, they also remind me of my robot toys I fondly play with when I was younger.  So, I shall be sharing a list every now and then of these kind of furnitures that I find.  And so, to start with, here's a list of 5 random transforming and convertible furnitures I found on the net.

This transforming and convertible wood furniture with aluminum frame can flipped from a modern and sleek looking chair to a simple coffee or side table and vice versa.  Designer Aissa Logerot made it durable in addition to it being stylish.

Designer Joven De La Vega designed this transforming and convertible furniture with no moving parts.  These furniture flips from a small working desk into a straight-backed chair and back.

Just like the furniture before this one, it has no moving parts and it takes just a flip to change it to any of three options.  This transforming and convertible furniture can go from a desk to a chair to a podium by just a simple turn or flip.  This is designed by Marius Goetze.

Designer Brandon Allen calls this the Calypso Chair.  Well, what can I say, it has more moving parts than any of the furnitures listed here today, and I like it.  A very versatile looking furniture that turns from a center table, a couch, magazine rack and more.  Nice piece of furniture you can use for those small spaces in your house or apartments.

This is my favorite of the bunch.  This is a couch that can transform into a double deck bed or bunk bed.  Not your ordinary pull out couch-bed, this may be a really space saver if you need 2 bed spaces rather than just one.  It also looks good both as a couch or as a transformed bunk bed.
