A fine looking chair of plywood grids designed by Los Angeles designer Christopher Warren of WORD.  Called Myrkr Chair, meaning "darkness", this chair is made from 12mm plywood sheets laser-cut and then put together with dowels.

The chair has been dyed black and then finished with lacquer.

Seen from several images below, the Myrkr Chair gives off a beautiful play of shadows against the light around it.  True to its Old Norse name - Myrkr which is conceived of light and shadow.
