A very nice rendering tutorial by Anninos Konstantinos, who won first runner up for the GH House Challenge arranged by Ronen Bekerman.

Anninos Konstantinos did a great job building the scene.  Softwares he used were 3ds Max, Photoshop, Onyxtree, VRay plugin and the Object Painter script.

The scene he made was based on a real house called Castel Meur, or the house between rocks located in France.

His secret to the nice look and quality of the render is not with the lights but more with the production of good looking textures.

For his post-production work, which he mostly used for all his 3d rendering works, he used levels, brightness & contrast, chromatic aberration & vignetting using Photoshop.  Depth of view is also a part of his rendering process since it creates a more photographic look into the images.
