The New Concept Car from Renault, the Dezir, unveils at this year's Paris Motor Show. It is a bright red two-seater electric car which is Renault's vision of the future.
The car would be powered by an electric motor capable of producing 150hp. It would be fast enough to travel 0-62mph in 5 seconds and top speed of 112mph. The batteries will last for a range of 100 miles.
The car weighs around 430kg giving it a super low drag co-efficient of just 0.25. The exterior of the car has a very impressive look, having gull-wing doors, 21-inch wheels, curvy side aluminum panels, full-width air intake up front and headlights like back-lit prisms.
According to Axel Breun, Renault's Director of Concept Car and Show Car Design, "DeZir is a statement of our new formal design language which conveys notions such as movement, sensuality and emotion through ideal proportions, in much the same way as an object whose forms have been honed by nature."
