They call this the Umbrella Recollector. It looks like any ordinary umbrella with the addition of a water container attached to the handle and with its cone top, able to be inverted to catch rainwater.
How this design works is fairly simple. Water is caught and gathered like a funnel by the inverted cone on the top of the umbrella and then goes through the shaft where it is filtered and cleaned which then goes to the end where the bottle or container is attached to collect the filtered water for drinking.
A clever design concept which promotes green design and the innovative way of collecting resource in the environment, the Umbrella Recollector is one design idea to look forward to in the future especially as the world starts to go greener by design every year.
