Have you ever experienced turning on the faucet and then got surprised when hot water suddenly gushes over your hands getting yourself hurt in the process? People get hurt usually whenever they assume that the water running in the faucet is cold or warm which usually turns out to be the opposite. Marti, a Spanish company, has introduced a faucet that will indicate the water temperature running out from it so you don't need to guess any more.
The faucet has a clear colorless body which illuminates a certain color when water travels the fixture. The body lights up red when water is really hot, violet when warm, and blue when cold. It uses LED bulbs embedded inside the faucet to light up the whole fixture.
Currently they have two different models of these illuminating faucets that you can choose from. The Platinum, the first image on the top of this page, and the Niagara, the image just above this text.
The transparent body also comes in different finishes and patterns for a more varied design choices.
No more guessing required using these illuminating faucets.
