Who would ever thought that a thin piece of paper can be made as shelving? In reality you can't because paper would just tear apart if the weight placed on it is heavy. Alessandro Loschiavo managed to make what seems to be an impossible feat into reality.

The shelf design, named Levita, is composed of stainless steel rod frames supporting pieces of hammered stainless steel metal sheets creating what looks like pieces of paper floating in the air.

The shelf design is somewhat artistically done as it seems like sheets of paper are flying off the ream on the floor below. Very interesting to look at, especially if you'll see large objects being stored on one of the paper shelves.
