Have you come across an invention or a design of an object that is so simple that made you think - "Why haven't I thought of that before" or "I knew something like this would work but I never made one because it seems too simple"? Well, this may be one of those designs that look so darn simple and yet so effective in its use.
Designed by Luofang Jun, this child safety device is attached at the end of the plug where the metal contacts are. It has a blue retractable body that fully covers the metal plugs when unplugged and even during and after plugging it to a socket. This ensures a more child safety feature in an electrical plug.
This just shows that effective designs and inventions doesn't always need to be complicated. Sometimes simple is better and less is more.
