nail hammer 01.jpg

If you've tried any kind of carpentry work then you know the hassle of carrying your supply of nails while you're hammering.  Like any average carpenter, you might be carrying the nails with your lips or maybe inside your clenched fist or inside your pockets.  Dropping the nails or being jabbed by it while you hammer is a very big possibility, and not only is this dangerous, it can become really inefficient to work with.

Designers Jinsoo Cho & Ahjin Choi have made a simple yet effective modification to the hammer which will make carpentry works not only safe but effecient.

Being paralyzed from the waist down, paraplegics often rely on wheelchairs to get them where they want to go.  Without a cure for their legs, their movements often is limited by their wheelchair's design.  While some designers have modified and reinvented the wheelchair's design to facilitate more flexibility in the user's movements, the company Berkley Bionics have done a more advanced and technological approach by producing an exoskeleton that paraplegics can wear, helping them to stand and to walk again.

We're living in a time were the fantasies and science fictions of our grandfathers' time or even their grandfathers' time are slowly becoming a reality.  The technology of today have become so advanced that even fairy tale stories seem to come alive.  A mirror was recently developed to do more than what other mirrors normally do.  Like a commemorative honoring the mirror from snow white's fairy tale story, this mirror will show you a lot more than just a reflection of your face.

A Semi-Circular Table Transforms

transform round table 01.jpg

When I was a kid, toys that transform, fold, slide in and out to form a shape from another shape really excites me that is why when I saw this table, how simple it may look, really caught my attention.  It's a semi-circular wood and metal table with arching patterns on its top, nothing really special, but lo and behold it transforms to become one full circular table.  This table, designed by Isariya Boon, calls this the "Rotension Table".
