Early this year, the Greener Gadgets Conference held a competition that was focused on designing products and devices that are energy efficient and are environment friendly.  One of the 18 Greener Gadgets Design Competition finalists is this energy generating chair that designer Ryan Klinger calls the Empower Chair.

This Wash and Go Laundry Device is one of the eight finalists in the Electrolux Designlab 2010 competition.  The competition focuses on the living conditions of people in the year 2050, when it is predicted that a greater population would be living in compact spaces in an urban environment setting.  The winner would be announced by the 23rd of September 2010.

Designers at Rain Harvesting Pvt, Ltd, have designed and developed a product that would prevent rainwater downspouts and pipes from clogging due to leaves and other small objects entering the gutter drain.  They call this the Clean Rain.  Its an all-in-one maintenance free rain head, flush diverter and storm overflow in one functional device.

Mexican born designer Valentina Glez Wolhers, is the designer of these unique looking chair.  It's as if a ghost chair is only revealed by the transparent cloth, which is placed over it, acquiring its shape.

So it looks like an ordinary wooden table with extra set of legs and a lot of crazy stuff happening underneath it but obviously, it's far from ordinary.  What seems like another clumsily made furniture is actually a very innovative design.  This ordinary looking table can walk!

Batman's bat mobile will find a friend with this concept car designed by an artist from Sweden, Jason Battersby.  It is not as high tech as the batmobile but it would surely get anyone's attention as it flies through the streets.
